Music Video Inspiration: Every Avenue - "Tell Me I'm A Wreck"
This concept and narrative based performance instantly grabbed my attention; the use of text over the image deviates from the usual lip syncing that is used in almost every video. It is a subtle change that drastically alters the viewers perception of the song and the message that gets across. The way in which people perceive the lyrics is hugely changed when seen and not sung because you can see the full expression of the face of the artists.
Music Video Inspiration: Of Mice & Men - You're Not Alone
I watched this video and was surprised at the very fact that this video is literally an advert for their album; there is no hiding it at all. the video is merely a background image to keep the viewer interested. This was interesting because usually music videos, although are created mostly for promotional purposes, have other motivations than being, effectively, just an advert. They are created with the intent to give a sense of story and sell the artists themselves as opposed to literally just their product (in this case, their album "Restoring Force").
Music Video Inspiration: The Amity Affliction - Chasing Ghosts
The constant contrast between the conventions of narrative and performance based video hugely inspires my imagination, and this flipping between types of video base type also means that the setting is constantly changing aswell however i like the way that the too seem so very close despite being so unsimilar. Despite not liking the sound of the band this video caught my attention for the fact that it is an interesting way to tell a story through both mediums whilst still heavily connecting the two.

Band inspiration board
The chosen fashion I intend to use for my band "Euphorians" has vast Alternative Rock and Nu-Metal influences. bands such as "Good Charlotte", "Bring Me The Horizon" and "Boys Like Girls" display this distinct and more abstract style of fashion, it spawns from darker and more gothic origins than mainstream fashion however is still very socially accepted. Bands that use this kind of fashion generally have a more individual and distinct style of music with more serious and genuine undertones. Examples This kind of apparel can be found in high-street bands and is very easily accessible so that is why i have chosen this style.
